Privacy policy

Pending legal review. This policy is structured against the requirements of Quebec’s Law 25 and contains every element the Act requires. It has not yet been reviewed by counsel, and it must be before launch. Law 25 also requires that this policy be available in French.
Who is responsible
Joltek provides independent automation and modernization consulting from Quebec, Canada. Joltek is responsible for the personal information under its control.

What we collect, and why
Only what you choose to send. We do not buy lists and we do not track you across other sites.

Consent
Submitting a form is your consent to be contacted about that enquiry. Analytics load only after you accept; if you decline, no analytics cookie is set and nothing is sent to Google. You may change your choice at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser.

Your information is never sold, rented, or shared for advertising.
Information held outside Quebec
Some service providers named above operate infrastructure outside Quebec, including in the United States and the European Union. Personal information may therefore be stored or processed outside Quebec, where it may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction. Providers are selected on the basis that they offer protection comparable to that required under Quebec law.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept while a commercial relationship remains reasonably possible, and then deleted. Records connected to an engagement are kept for the period required by professional, tax and legal obligations.
Your rights
Under Law 25 you may, at any time:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct it if it is inaccurate or incomplete
- Withdraw consent to its use
- Request deletion, subject to our legal retention obligations
- Complain to the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec

Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Access to enquiry data is limited to those who need it to respond. In the event of a confidentiality incident presenting a risk of serious injury, affected individuals and the Commission d’accès à l’information will be notified, as the Act requires.

Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page.
