AMDT
AMDT Partner Network and Ecosystem
The AMDT partner network explained: Preferred, Gold and Silver tiers, named partners by region, the 2026 awards, Siemens, Schneider, AVEVA and how to buy.
The AMDT partner network is how most plants outside AMDT’s home offices buy, install and support octoplant. AMDT describes “more than 100 channel partners” (system integrators, automation specialists, resellers and distributors) organised in three levels, Preferred, Gold and Silver (AMDT Partner Network), alongside direct sales from regional hubs in EMEA, the Americas and APAC. A public directory on octoplant.com shows each partner’s level and countries (Where to Buy). Around that sales channel sits a smaller set of technology relationships: Siemens, Schneider Electric, AVEVA, OpenSG, and integration targets such as ServiceNow.
Why this matters to a plant: the partner who sells octoplant is usually also the one who installs it, writes the backup jobs, trains the maintenance team and takes the call when a restore fails. The quality of that partner shapes the outcome as much as the software does. This page sets out who the partners are, what the technology relationships do and do not mean, and what to ask before choosing a route. For the company itself, start at the AMDT hub.
How the AMDT partner network is structured
AMDT runs a tiered reseller and service programme, plus a separate set of technology and OEM relationships. They are different things, and buyers often confuse them.
| Relationship | AMDT’s description | What it means for a plant |
|---|---|---|
| Direct | AMDT Europe (Landau), AMDT Americas (Alpharetta), AMDT APAC (Nanjing, Tokyo) | One contract with the vendor. Implementation, IQ/OQ and training services available from AMDT itself |
| Preferred partner | “Strategic partners representing Octoplant within their regions and working closely with AMDT across sales, services, marketing, and market development” | The partner AMDT leans on in that region. Expect the deepest bench, and still confirm certified staff by name |
| Gold partner | “Established partners with greater regional responsibility, independent sales capabilities, dedicated account support” | Sells and delivers on its own. Ask for restore and migration references |
| Silver partner | “Project-focused partnerships for companies building their Octoplant business, with AMDT resources and support aligned to individual opportunities” | Newer to the product. Fine for a defined project; ask who from AMDT backs them on a hard one |
| Technology partner | Siemens, AVEVA, OpenSG and others | Product or ecosystem alignment. Not a sales or support channel for your licence |
Level descriptions are quoted from AMDT’s Partner Network page, as of October 2026; the right-hand column is our reading. AMDT says partners “progress through structured Silver, Gold, and Preferred partnership levels” and get training, certification, a partner portal and direct access to AMDT specialists. What AMDT does not publish is the numeric bar for each level, such as certified engineers or revenue. The level tells you how AMDT rates the relationship commercially. It does not tell you how many restores the partner’s engineers have run, so ask.
The directory is smaller than the headline. The Where to Buy directory listed 69 partner entries when we counted in October 2026, against AMDT’s “more than 100” partners. Some firms appear more than once, with a different level by country. The gap may be partners not listed publicly; if a firm says it sells octoplant and is not in the directory, ask AMDT to confirm the relationship.
| Region in the directory | Preferred | Gold | Silver | Entries |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| EMEA | 2 | 17 | 4 | 23 |
| Asia-Pacific | 1 | 8 | 14 | 23 |
| Americas (North and Latin America) | 5 | 9 | 9 | 23 |
Counted by us from the public directory in October 2026; it changes as partners join and move level.
AMDT also offers its own services through the regional hubs: implementation and commissioning, an update service, job optimisation, TIA Portal integration, image service integration for PC backups, IQ/OQ services for validated sites, and migration and expansion. Training runs through instructor-led courses, the eAcademy and the myAMDT portal. This matters when comparing quotes: a partner’s implementation price should be weighed against what AMDT would charge for the same service, and against whether the partner adds local presence that AMDT cannot.
Named partners in the AMDT partner network, by region
Most of our readers run plants in North America, so that region is listed in full. Levels and countries are as shown in the Where to Buy directory in October 2026; award notes come from AMDT’s 2026 award announcement.

Elsewhere, the partners a multi-site group is most likely to meet:
| Partner | Level | Countries listed | Public signal |
|---|---|---|---|
| Novotek | Preferred | UK, Ireland, Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland | 2026 Partner of the Year; long-running octoplant release coverage (Novotek) |
| M.A.C. Solutions | Preferred in the UK; Silver elsewhere | UK; Belgium, France, Ireland, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden | 2026 Highest Growth Partner award |
| Schneider Electric | Gold | France | 2026 Enterprise Growth award |
| Agilitec | Gold | Belgium, Netherlands | 2026 Best Go-To-Market Collaboration award |
| KEP IoT | Gold | France | 2026 Newcomer of the Year award |
| Becolve | Gold | Spain | Publishes the AutoSave end-of-life explainer |
| IIoT Cybersecurity | Gold | Germany, Austria | Lists OT asset inventory and versioning as its focus |
| iOpen | Preferred | Australia | Publishes an octoplant product page |
| HSI Smart Solutions | Preferred | Brazil | |
| Siemens (UK) and Siemens Factory Automation Engineering (China) | Silver | United Kingdom; China | Listed as partners in those two countries |
| OpenSG | Silver | South Korea | Also a strategic partner (below) |
Two firms named in earlier public material are not in the directory as of October 2026: NNIT, and Adeptly, which publishes an octoplant page for Africa (the directory lists AcuSYS Software Solutions and CSI³ as Gold partners in South Africa). Confirm current status with AMDT before relying on either.
What the regional picture says. The Americas have the most Preferred partners (five, four of them in North America), which fits the large AutoSave installed base inherited from MDT Software. EMEA is dominated by Gold partners with country-level coverage. Asia-Pacific is mostly Silver, with AMDT’s own offices in Nanjing and Tokyo carrying more of the load. For a multi-site group, coverage across every site may matter more than proximity to headquarters: one Preferred partner in the home country plus a Silver partner at a remote plant is a different support model from AMDT direct everywhere, and it should be a deliberate choice.
The 2026 partner awards
AMDT held its first octoplant Partner Network Awards on 15 April 2026 in Warsaw, at its “Rock the Future” partner summit, recognising performance in the 2025 financial year (AMDT).
| Award | Winner |
|---|---|
| Partner of the Year | Novotek |
| Top Revenue Partner | ATR Automation |
| Deal of the Year | ATR Automation |
| Enterprise Growth Award | Schneider Electric |
| Highest Growth Partner | MAC Solutions |
| Implementation Excellence | Q-Mation |
| Strategic Portfolio Builder | GrayMatter Systems |
| Best Go-To-Market Collaboration | Agilitec |
| Brand Ambassador | Cimsoft |
| Newcomer of the Year | KEP IOT |
How to read it. Revenue and growth awards say a partner sells a lot of octoplant. Only “Implementation Excellence” speaks directly to delivery quality, which is what a plant lives with after the purchase order. The awards are a useful shortlist, not a substitute for references.
Technology relationships around octoplant
Siemens. Siemens publishes an octoplant product page on its own site, describing the product as one that “can be linked to different SIEMENS automation technologies” (Siemens), and AMDT’s materials describe it as a Siemens Xcelerator “Build” partner. Two Siemens entities also appear in the octoplant partner directory as Silver partners, in the United Kingdom and in China. For a Siemens-heavy plant this signals compatibility work, particularly around TIA Portal, where AMDT also offers a TIA Portal integration service. It does not make octoplant a Siemens product, and it sits alongside Siemens’ own engineering-side version control in TIA Portal and SIMATIC AX.
Schneider Electric. Schneider won the 2026 Enterprise Growth Award, which AMDT says recognised it for “leading in corporate engagements and long-term customer development,” and the directory lists it as a Gold partner for France. So Schneider is a channel partner that sells octoplant, at least in France; we found no public statement of a broader technology agreement. octoplant’s device list includes Schneider engineering tools such as Control Expert and EcoStruxure products, as examples.
AVEVA. AVEVA is described as a technology partner, and AVEVA Select Brazil appears in the directory as a Silver partner. The longest-standing link is the AutoSave integration with AVEVA System Platform, which the AVEVA Community reports reached end of life on 31 December 2025 (a community report, not an AMDT notice). Plants that relied on it should confirm how their System Platform estate is covered in octoplant.
OpenSG. In November 2025 AMDT announced a strategic partnership with OpenSG, a South Korean control systems and plant logistics company, starting in Korea with semiconductor, electric vehicle and battery manufacturing (AMDT). The stated aim is to connect what engineering designs with what actually runs on the machine. OpenSG also appears in the directory as a Silver partner for South Korea.
Integrations: ServiceNow, export and the OT security gap
ServiceNow is a named export target, not a certified integration. octoplant 105 added a REST export API, and Spring Release 107 added an octovision Export API aimed at CMDB and ticketing systems, naming ServiceNow (AMDT). As of October 2026 we found no certified ServiceNow Store application. The practical difference: a plant or its partner builds and maintains the mapping. The OTSSM and integrations page covers AMDT’s service management model and the export options in detail.
Network OT security platforms have no public integration. We found no productised link between octoplant or octovision and Claroty, Nozomi, Dragos, Armis or TXOne. AMDT positions octovision as complementary to network discovery, and its Summer 2026 release lets it import external asset lists by CSV (octoplant.com). That is a file exchange, not a live link. A plant running both kinds of tool should plan who reconciles the two inventories, and how often. The alternatives page explains how the two approaches differ.
Buying through the AMDT partner network or direct
Neither route is better in general. The choice depends on what the plant needs around the licence.

| Situation | Likely better route | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Single site, strong in-house controls team | Either; compare quotes | The licence matters more than the services wrapped around it |
| Multi-site group across regions | Direct, or one partner with proven multi-region reach | One contract and one support path across sites |
| Migration from AutoSave or versiondog | A partner with documented migrations, or AMDT services | Migration is a project, not a licence swap |
| Regulated site needing IQ/OQ | AMDT IQ/OQ services or a partner with validation experience | Validation evidence has to stand up to an auditor |
| Remote region with no AMDT office | Local partner | Response time on site matters during recovery |
How to evaluate it: questions for a partner
- Which level are you in the AMDT directory, and how many of your engineers hold current octoplant certification?
- Can you name two reference sites with similar device mixes to ours, and may we call them?
- How many AutoSave or versiondog migrations have you completed, and what went wrong on one?
- Who writes and tunes the backup jobs, and who reads the failure reports after go-live?
- Have you run a full restore test with a customer, and what did it find?
- What is your response time for a failed restore during an outage, and is it in the contract?
- What do you charge for services that AMDT also offers directly, and what do you add?
- How do you handle device support for new firmware or engineering software versions?
- If you integrate with our CMDB or security tools, who maintains that mapping after handover?
If the answers are thin, an independent owner’s engineer can hold the scope and acceptance criteria while a partner delivers.
Limits and open questions
- Level criteria are qualitative. AMDT describes what each level means and the directory shows who holds it, but no numeric bar (certified engineers, revenue, completed projects) is public.
- The directory and the headline differ. 69 directory entries against “more than 100” partners. Confirm any firm that is not listed.
- Schneider’s scope beyond France is not public. The directory shows a Gold listing for France only.
- No prices. AMDT publishes none, so partner quotes are hard to compare without a common device count and scope.
- No public OT security integrations. Any integration with a network security platform is, as far as public sources show, project work.
- Partner pages lag. Device lists on partner websites may trail the current support matrix, which sits behind the myAMDT login.
Deeper
This page has no children of its own. The most relevant detail sits elsewhere in the cluster:
- octoplant editions and licensing: what drives a quote, whoever issues it
- Migration to octoplant: the project a partner is most often hired for
- ServiceNow and ITSM: what the export to ServiceNow does today
- Export API: the REST and octovision export interfaces
- OT security platforms: how octoplant data sits next to Claroty, Nozomi and others

Frequently asked questions
Can I buy octoplant directly from AMDT?
Yes. AMDT sells directly through regional hubs for EMEA, the Americas and APAC, and also through a partner network that AMDT states has more than 100 members. Which route a plant ends up on usually depends on region and on whether it wants local implementation help. Ask AMDT which partner, if any, covers your sites before requesting quotes.
What are the AMDT partner tiers?
AMDT runs three levels: Preferred partners represent octoplant strategically in their region, Gold partners carry regional responsibility and sell independently, and Silver partners are project-focused firms building an octoplant business. The where-to-buy directory on octoplant.com shows each partner's tier and countries. AMDT does not publish numeric criteria, so ask about certified engineers.
Who won the 2026 octoplant Partner Network Awards?
At the first awards, held in Warsaw on 15 April 2026, Novotek was named Partner of the Year. ATR Automation won Top Revenue Partner and Deal of the Year, Schneider Electric won the Enterprise Growth Award, and further awards went to MAC Solutions, Q-Mation, GrayMatter Systems, Agilitec, Cimsoft and KEP IOT.
Does octoplant integrate with Claroty or Nozomi?
As of October 2026 we found no public, productised integration between octoplant or octovision and Claroty, Nozomi, Dragos, Armis or TXOne. AMDT positions octovision as complementary to network discovery tools, and octovision can import their asset lists by CSV. Ask AMDT directly about any integration you need, since private or project-based work may exist.
Is octoplant on Siemens Xcelerator?
Siemens publishes a product page for octoplant on siemens.com, describing it as linked to Siemens automation technologies, and AMDT's materials describe the company as a Siemens Xcelerator Build partner. A listing is an ecosystem relationship, not a Siemens product. Licensing and support still come from AMDT or its partners.
